Panel Discussion with Caren Jeß, Iman Qureshi, Mark Ravenhill, Maja Zade

Hosted by Matthias Warstat

Admission: 6€ / red. 2€

In 2019, three young German playwrights — Caren Jeß, Magdalena Schrefel and Giorgi Jamburia — travelled to England to meet three young British playwrights — Jasmine Lee Jones, Iman Qureshi and Tom Fowler — to share ideas for plays and to discuss their different theatre cultures. This exchange, organised by the Royal Court Theatre and the Schaubühne, was led by playwright Mark Ravenhill. Now, during the FIND, the six playwrights are meeting once again to share and discuss work in progress. They will discuss the experiences gained during this exchange, as well as the differences and similarities in playwriting in Britain and Germany with Matthias Warstat, Professor of Theatre studies at the Freie Universität Berlin.
