"As the publication manager for EXC 2020, I'm here to offer you, as a member of the Cluster, professional advice at every step of the way when it comes to publishing your research findings.

Let's get in touch – maybe to chat about your proposal, find your publisher, get financial support, work out a route to open access or spread the word about your published work. I'm excited to hear about your projects!"

Christina Schmitt is a publications manager at Freie Universität Berlin since 2020, initially at the Center for Advanced Film Studies "Cinepoetics. Poetologies of Audiovisual Images", and since summer 2024 at the Cluster of Excellence "Temporal Communities: Doing Literature in a Global Perspective".

She studied theatre studies, film studies, media and communication studies as well as modern German literature at Freie Universität Berlin. She was research assistant at the Cluster of Excellence "Languages of Emotion" in the transdisciplinary project "Multimodal Metaphor and Expressive Movement" (2009–2013) and at the Center for Advanced Film Studies "Cinepoetics" (2016–2024), where she was also programme coordinator (2016–2019).
