ilb | Roundtable | Don't touch. Distance and Proximity in Literature and in the Digital Space.
An event cooperatively presented by internationales literaturfestival berlin and EXC 2020 "Temporal Communities"
What does literature look like in a digital age? Digitization has changed the feel, appearance, and forms of reception and production of literature in a lasting way. New text forms are emerging and the relationship between writers and readers is changing. Joining our discussion on how technical mediation shapes encounters with and in literature through new forms of proximity and distance are Facebook-poet Elisa Aseva, digitally involved author Sarah Berger, digital publisher Christiane Frohmann and scholar Roberto Simanowski. Moderated by EXC 2020 postdoc Nina Tolksdorf.
The conversation will be held in German.
This event will be streamed live to the ilb website www.literaturfestival.com.
