Victoria Wirtz received her BA in English Philology from Freie Universität Berlin. She completed her master's degree in Comparative Literature at the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies of Dartmouth College, USA. She further graduated in English Studies at Freie Universität, with an MA thesis on queer temporality in Ian McEwan's Atonement and Jenny Erpenbeck's Heimsuchung. During her graduate studies at Dartmouth College, she worked as a teaching assistant and was granted a full sponsorship by the Department of Jewish Studies. She has previously served as a student research assistant in the projects "Imperial Fictions" (EXC 2020) and "Artefacts, Treasures and Ruins – Materiality and Historicity in the Literature of the English Middle Ages" (CRC Episteme in Motion).
