Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut
The Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut (IAI) is an interdisciplinary institution focused on the cultural exchange with Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. Since 1963, the IAI has been part of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz and complements Berlin’s rich landscape of state-financed museums and cultural institutions with its unique profile: Its impressive archive includes the biggest library on the Iberic-American cultural region in Europe. With its engagement in academic cooperation and knowledge transfer, the IAI is an important partner especially for Cluster projects and members working with Iberic-American literature and culture.
