Organised by Till Kadritzke, Michail Leivadiotis, Friederike Schäfer and Sebastian Tränkle.
As part of the ongoing Jour Fixe series, the second session of the current semester will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about infrarrealismo, a poetic movement that emerged in Mexico during the 1970s.
Current Cluster fellow Palmireno Moreira Neto will present key aspects of the movement, analyse the role of Chilean writer Roberto Bolaño, and examine its connections with surrealism. He will also consider how infrarrealismo forged transtemporal networks and engaged in aesthetic and political competition with other literary communities.
We warmly invite you to join the discussion and share your thoughts!
