After a BA in Comparative Literature and Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin (with a stay at Université Paris 8), Julius Böhm completed his MA at Freie Universität with a thesis on anticipations of the future and non-linear temporalities in tragedy around 1800. Having served as a student research assistant at the Dahlem Humanities Center from 2016 to 2019 and at EXC 2020 from 2019 to 2022, he worked for the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin until 2024, when he joined the Cluster as a doctoral researcher.
Current research includes an EXC 2020 doctoral research project, Theory between Critique and Commodification. Global Circulation Dynamics of Theoretical (Para-)Texts (2024–).
