The Value of Literary Circulation – An Introduction

What do we mean by the 'circulation' of literature? What are the implications of such a notion? What moves – and how – when 'literary' circulation takes place? What is the relationship between the concept and evaluative categories of all kinds (aesthetic, economic, cultural, social, etc.)? These are the fundamental questions that have prompted us to revisit a well-tilled field of inquiry to engage with the phenomenon from a fourfold perspective trying to delineate literary circulation more precisely.
