Organised by Research Area 5: "Building Digital Communities".

Our 5^th Annual Conference "Futures of Doing Literature" will focus on present and future possibilities for doing literature, both as a scholarly practice and as a social, material and performative form of expression, communication and negotiation. Doing literature provides a space for meditation and action, and enacts different notions of participation, impact, temporality, creativity and literary timing. In addition, by placing contributions from Cluster members, associated fellows and artists at the core of the programme, the conference organised by Research Area 5 "Building Digital Communities" will provide an opportunity to reflect on the collaborative achievements and developments throughout Temporal Communities' first funding phase.

This year, the conference will be combined with an 'International Week', allowing us to welcome all of the Cluster's international collaborators to Berlin to discuss the future of research on temporal communities.
